4 States, 2 Weeks, 1800 Miles, 134 Pictures . . . I think you get the point

Here is a state by state view of our trip.
P.S. Mike put together these lovely slide shows to document :)

Utah
We got to stay our first night in Monticello with Nate's parents. His dad took us hiking to see some ruins, but unfortunately we forgot our camera. We stopped at Bluff to see the pioneer fort, and then made our way through Monument Valley stopping at Navajo National Monument in Arizona. We also got to buy jewelry and see the dinosaur tracks along the way.

Arizona
After leaving Navajo National Monument, we made our way to the Grand Canyon, and then on to Flagstaff and Winslow Arizona. We got to drive on the historic Route 66, and took a moment to stand on the corner in memory of the Eagles and the Balsers.

New Mexico
We documented the only note-worthy sight in New mexico below, they do things differently there.

Colorado
After passing through New Mexico, we stayed two nights at Mesa Verde, completed 4 short hikes and saw incredible ruins in the cliffs. On our way home the next day we went to Silverton Colorado, a historic mining town and got to take a mine tour and pan for gold.
